About Bio-Magic Ingredients

Humic acid is the most biologically active component of soil humus. In soil, humic acids reduce leaching of essential plant nutrients by chelating (organically bonding) them in the root zone. They also serve as an important carbon based food source from microorganisms vital to soil dynamics, and have a buffering effect on soil pH shifts brought about by natural and artificial factors. In plants, humic acids affect the permeability of cell wall membranes in roots, allowing more rapid absorption of nutrients essential to plant health. They also have been shown to improve plant respiration, photosynthesis, and root growth.

Cold water sea kelp (Ascophylum nodosum) contains high levels of cytokinins, which are plant growth hormones normally synthesized in plant roots. Cytokinins are known to promote cell division and lateral bud development as well as delay the aging process of plant tissue. Under stress conditions (heat, drought, etc.), cytokinin production in plants is severely limited, so the application of seaweed containing cytokinins can stimulate new root and bud development.

Sucrose serves as an energy source for plants and soil microorganisms. B-complex and K vitamins are important catalysts to enzymes enhancing and driving plant growth metabolism.

Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins and are also essential for plant metabolism. Bio-Magic contains a complex of eighteen (18) amino acids.

Proprietary beneficial bacteria in Bio-Magic include a nitrogen-fixing bacillus that makes atmospheric nitrogen available to plants, a phosphorus-dissolving bacillus that increases the availability of insoluble phosphorus in the soil, and a growth hormone-producing bacillus that stimulates root growth.

Bio-Magic:

• Improves water and nutrient uptake;
• Promotes root re-growth after disease and insect damage;
• Reduces stress from heat, drought, and transplanting; and
• Stimulates beneficial microbial activity in the soil and on roots.

The Bio-Magic Advantage

Bio-Magic is a complete bio-stimulant and beneficial bacteria package that can be:

• Used in root zone injection applications on established trees and shrubs to stimulate root growth and nutrient absorption, and aid in stress recovery;
• Applied to newly laid sod to enhance root regeneration and help knit down quickly;
• Used in hydro-seeding or any other seeding operation to get fast germination and establishment; and
• Applied to new plantings to reduce transplant shock.

Note: Once Bio-Magic is rehydrated, it cannot be stored for more than a few hours.

Coverage
One pound of Bio-Magic covers up to 32,000 ft2 or ¾ acre. For general use, mix one pre-measured scoop (enclosed in each jar) with one gallon of water. (1 lb contains 100 scoops and makes at least 100 gallons of Bio-Magic mix).

Directions For Use

Ideal pH: 6.5-7.0

Installations: Dilute 1 tsp. (enclosed pre-measured scoop) per gallon of water or fertilizer solution and apply as a soil drench for soil bio-stimulation, root growth stimulation, and stress recovery.

Ornamental beds and gardens: Dilute 1 scoop per gallon of water and spray foliage to point of runoff.

Sod and new turf seeding: Dilute 1 scoop per gallon of water and drench after sod installation or initial seed ger- mination. Use 1 gallon (or 1 scoop) per 200 ft 2.

Storage: Bio-Magic will remain stable for 2 years in proper conditions. It contains live bacteria spores. Avoid excessive heat. Store in a cool place, away from direct sunlight and keep tightly sealed after use. Do not allow to freeze.
