NCO Athletic Field Mix
North Country Organics Athletic Field Mix is a fine textured mix with good recuperative potential and wear tolerance. This blend prefers full sunlight, but will tolerate slight shading. Athletic Field Blend does better with regular maintenance programs.
Contains: 80% (three different varieties of) Kentucky Bluegrass and 20% Perennial Ryegrass.

Area For Use: North of the Mason Dixon line.
Rate: 4 lbs. per 1,000 ft.2
When To Plant: Spring or fall but fall is preferred.
Notes: Only 20% perennial ryegrass is used in this blend to prevent the bluegrasses from being smothered. Ryegrasses typically germinate 10 – 14 days before bluegrass and can create a canopy that will prevent sunlight from reaching the bluegrass seedlings.
